Skin Rejuvenation with PRP
Are you worried about the Ageing signs like Wrinkles? or Fine lines appearing on Forehead? or you have pores open on your face skin? or skin of your neck and hands getting thin?
let’s discuss the role of PRP in Skin Rejuvenation
First of all What is PRP? how it is prepare? what are its uses?
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma, it is that component of blood means Plasma which is rich in Platelets concentration.
It is separated from your own blood through a process called Centrifugation.
Platelets are the components of blood which contain growth factors. Platelets exert positive effects on growth of different structures through these growth factors, such as structural proteins in case of skin.
Uses of PRP in Aesthetic Medicine:
Skin Rejuvenation (regeneration of skin )
Promotes Hair growth, it is used especially for male and female Pattern Baldness
Beside this we can use PRP with the combination in different other aesthetic procedures to get better results, for example HA fillers for skin rejuvenation, if it is used in Autologous fat transplantation it improves the survival of fat graft.
Now role of PRP in Skin Rejuvenation:
Skin rejuvenation means PRP regenerates your skin. When you are young the damage and repair happens simultaneously in your skin, but as we grow older our damage increases while repair gets slow due to which damage signs start to appear and the structural proteins of skin which give thickness to the skin starts to reduced with the age and skin become thin. So PRP helps to regain or regenerate that thickness, through promoting the growth of structural proteins like collagen and elastin with the help of growth factors.
As we grow older our skin gets damaged and ageing signs appear like fine wrinkles on forehead, crow’s feet, deepening of Naso labial folds, under eye thinning and wrinkling of skin, fine lines on face, neck skin also gets thinner with the age and gets wrinkled, hands skin also gets thinner. PRP is equally effective for all these skin conditions, it helps to improve and regenerate these conditions through growth factors. This way it rejuvenates these signs and make our skin young, healthy and tight as well. Due to this another common problem called open pores also get minimized.
There are different methods of application of PRP:
You can use PRP with Micro needles, micro needles puncture the skin and create micro channels through these PRP absorbs into the skin and work effectively.
Second method is to inject PRP with 32 gauge needle directly into the dermal layer of skin.
We can apply PRP topically under occlusion as well.
My personal experience when I use it with micro needles and Intradermal injections I found better results, especially for fine lines and wrinkles, also it has very good results for neck and hands rejuvenation.
Repeated sessions are required for skin rejuvenation in initial phase. Repeated after every 3 months when we get the desired results means visible improvement in skin condition then we do maintenance treatment once or twice a year. This way skin gets healthy and maintained.
